We were informed of a mistake regarding the project assignments and were re-assigned to the weeder project.

(April 20, 2014)

We completed the pairwise decision matrix and concluded that some features needed in the designs were more important than others. These are:

• Simplicity of use
• Safety
• Durability
• The weight of the tool

Taking the above concepts into account we decided the final design would require a length that would avoid too much bending over in steep slopes, it would also have hoe-like features to remove the weeds from the ground.
